Our Programmes

Our Strategy for Overcoming a Job Loss Programme includes all the important elements of transition, and these can be covered on a one-to-one basis, in a group workshop, or by a combination of the two. The programme is delivered at a level appropriate to the circumstances. Interview skills, for instance, can range from a knowledge of interview techniques and practice at answering some tough questions, to a CCTV interview and playback with critique.

If a client decides to explore self-employment or a business start-up, either at the start, or as a result of self-analysis, then programme options are available.

It is our practice to offer telephone and email support for as long as required, irrespective of the programme.  Every client receives an extensive workbook/manual that also serves to provide a blue print for career development and career progression for the rest of their working life.  Many of our outplacement clients have achieved positions they never thought possible.

Resource Centre Facilities

During significant or long-term change we can provide and manage Resource Centre facilities which become a focal point and information source for those who are leaving. Facilities vary according to customer need but often include:

  • Workstations for letter writing, desk research and telephone calls
  • Internet access and on-line data base search
  • Administrative support, fax and photocopy facilities
  • Mailshot letters to local companies
  • Vacancy displays and a library of journals and newspapers

In addition we link with appropriate agencies who often visit the Resource Centre to deliver presentations, thus contributing to a comprehensive range of help and advice.  All of which leaves you free to manage the many other issues which arise at this time.
